Evaluation

These were the main tools we used in Adobe Premiere, however
for part of our video we wanted to have the sound of my voice talking over the shot of the library instead of me speaking and then just cutting to the library we thought it would make the video look more continuous as a sequence and made for much better viewing. To do this we put the same shot in twice, and unlinked both of them from sound and vision. On one of them we cut my voice so all we could see was the library, and on the other we cut the library so you could hear was my voice we then linked these two pieces together and when we played the video my voice is talking about the library whilst the camera is showing a shot of the library entrance. I was very pleased with the outcome o the video, nothing really went wrong with the editing  however to improve I would make sure we filmed the exact shots we wanted and try to follow the continuity rules this would have made editing far easier. For a programme I had never used before both me and my partner found it easy to use and managed to edit and upload our video within about 2 lessons.

To get our video onto our blog we first had to put it onto YouTube. Fortunately my partners had a YouTube account so we logged in and uploaded the video quite easily. After that we logged onto our blog and created a new post, and copied the URL of the video into the post and once we published the post it uploaded the post the video was on our blog.

I have never used a blog before yet I quite enjoy this way of displaying work I have done. It is a simple website to use and you get the hang of it quickly also you realise a mistake has been made or you just want to change something it’s easy to edit you post and rearrange it to how you want. I do find I understand everything I'm doing because it’s all in order and allows me to talk through all that I have done before finally showing the final piece which is of course the video.

  1. Proficient evaluation of the process of making your preliminary task and the way you used technology to achieve this. Some problems with communicating the effective use of technology by the way the work is structured.
